Living a Righteous Life - 10
“Blessed is the one… whose delight is
in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law
day and night.” (Psalm 1:1–2)
The psalms begin with a picture of the blessed life — not riches or ease,
but a life rooted in God’s word. Like a tree planted by streams of water, the
righteous flourish even in dry seasons. Righteousness is not perfection but
choosing daily to walk in God’s ways. When we delight in His word, we find
wisdom, stability, and fruitfulness that the world cannot give.
Prayer:
Lord, plant me deep in Your word. Let my roots draw strength from You so that
my life may bear fruit that honors You. Teach me to love righteousness and walk
in Your ways. Amen.
