Repentance and Forgiveness - 6
“Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10)
David’s psalm of repentance is a mirror for us all. We stumble,
we fail, yet God’s mercy is greater than our sin. The psalms
teach that forgiveness begins with a broken and contrite heart.
No stain is too deep for His cleansing love. When we confess,
He not only forgives but restores joy and renews our spirit.
Repentance is not shame but the doorway back to grace.
Prayer:
Merciful God, I bring my brokenness before You. Wash
me clean, renew my spirit, and restore to me the joy of
Your salvation. Thank You that Your mercy is new
every morning. Amen.
