Hope in God’s Promises - 8
“I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my
hope.” (Psalm 130:5)
Waiting is hard. Yet the psalmist shows us that hope is not passive—it is
leaning on the promises of God with steady trust. When our souls ache with
longing, we can rest on His unfailing word. Hope is the anchor that holds us
when storms rage, reminding us that His timing is perfect, His love unshaken,
and His promises sure.
Prayer:
Faithful God, strengthen me when I grow weary in waiting. Help me rest in Your
promises and find peace in Your word. Let my hope be rooted not in
circumstances but in You alone. Amen.
