The Coming of the Messiah - 9
“The Lord says to my lord: ‘Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.’”
(Psalm 110:1)
The psalms point us to Jesus, the promised Messiah. Long before
Bethlehem, the psalmists sang of His kingship, His suffering, and His victory.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd, the Cornerstone, the King of glory. Every lament
finds comfort in Him, every hope finds fulfillment in Him. As we read Psalms,
we discover not only ancient songs but glimpses of the One who would come to
redeem us.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for being the fulfillment of every promise. Teach me to
see You in the psalms and to trust in Your victory. Reign in my heart today and
forever. Amen.
